Tripp's Follow-up story on WWL Ch.4

I didn't get much notice that this was coming on... (like I found out TODAY), so in case you missed it-
here is Tripp's "follow-up" story that WWL Channel 4 News asked to do about Tripp reaching the milestone of 2 years old!
I was SO excited that they showed Tripp's beautiful face in this one!
Please visit the WWL website HERE to read the story in text or to watch.

Once again, my dear friend Bill Capo- you did an amazing job of sharing the story of my little man.
I'm forever grateful to you for wanting to help us spread the word about Tripp and EB.
Thank you again for being so sincere and so wonderful to us.

Love,

  1. You are an amazing mother and you have an amazing son. I started reading your story tonight and couldn't stop in the middle,I had to read it from start to finish with tears in my eyes, weight on my chest, and a large lump in my throat. You are a remarkable woman Courtney. I will be praying for you and Tripp each and every night that God will shower you both with love and healing,to make all the pain go away and heal the remarkable little boy that Tripp is. Love,

  7. Guess what? My son Joseph and I just saw it a few minutes ago on our local news! Even my husband called me to make sure we were watching it. Kudos to you Courtney and your Mom (and Dad) for taking such good care of Tripp.

  10. Great update! Tripp is such a trooper - and so are you. Jackson (my 7-yr old) was looking at Tripp's pics and was so sad when he realized Tripp can't see anymore. But then he saw that Tripp just keeps smiling through all of it and he was really amazed!

We are still praying for him and for you - we love you very much!

    Love from TX,
    Laura

  12. Courtney, a Facebook friend of mine posted a link to your blog. I was so moved by your story - and Tripp's life - that I wanted to reach out to you. I lost a son, Andy, to a genetic disease two years ago. Your post inspired one of mine - http://andysarmy.com/perspectives - I hope that's okay. And, while I could never presume to understand exactly what you are going through, I hope you know that you are not alone right now. Keep trusting yourself, Tripp and God. Sending love and prayers for Tripp - Audra Butler
