Just wanted to do a quick post while Tripp is sleeping... I thought I'd post a few pics since we went outside for a few minutes today (and because I didn't have any pics on my post yesterday)!
This was right before his bath... He had just thrown up on his shirt and I was in the process of fixing up bath things, so he went outside shirtless... and boy was he smelling ripe. But isn't he a cutie patooty??
MeMe and Grammy...
Daddy time on the couch...
It was so pretty outside today and tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful again. I got my house cleaned today, so maybe if Tripp is feeling good we will go outside for a while tomorrow.
The Occupational therapist is coming in the morning, so he will have to get some tummy time...
Tripp had a somewhat better night last night... I saw every hour on the clock instead of every hour 3 times... so hopefully that's a sign that things will be getting better! Thanks for the prayers!!
Hope you enjoyed the pics... Have a great night!
He is just TOO CUTE!! I love that black and white with the sock on his head - so cute!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing the pics!
Janel
Love the pictures. Tripp is just the sweetest baby and he (and all the other EB babies) don't deserve to have to go through all that they do. He is such a fighter . . . I can see it in his big eyes. I wish I could give him a big kiss. He is just too sweet for words. Glad you were able to get outside for a bit.
ReplyDeleteI ALWAYS enjoy pictures of Tripp. His eyes are so expressive ... and big - so beautiful!
ReplyDeletePraying his cold is gone. Praying for peace to you all.
I just love those little lips. They look like they're calling for kisses. Good job, Mom! Great pics.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful family - so glad you got to get outside! Praying for you guys!
ReplyDeleteI just started following your blog and Tripp is such a blessing! He is so handsome. I love the pictures you have of him. I will be praying for sweet Tripp and for your family! Can't wait to see more of him! :)
ReplyDeleteHI COURTNEY!
ReplyDeleteI have not met you yet and Randy probably does not remember me, we were young children the last time we seen each other. Carey is my uncle and Pam is my aunt. (my mother is Carey's sister) Please know that we are praying for your family, my husband is a family physician and when I got the news from Uncle Carey about your son we were all so heart broken, BUT I want to encourage you to keep pressing on to the promise that GOD has given you. Seven years ago (December 17TH) we had a son Jon Noah born that changed our lives. He was admitted into the NICU with breathing trouble born at 33 weeks, I was sent home 3 days later but re-assured that Noah was doing well and would be home by Christmas. At 5 am the next morning we received the phone call that changed our lives. Noah was diagnosed with necrotizing enterocolitis NEC, it is nothing like you are having to deal with but I can feel some of your pain and my heart breaks for you! We spent 11 months in the NICU. On the bright side Noah will turn 7 this December and was told he would not live 24 hours! When 24 hours would roll around the doctors would come around and say "this is one fighter, but we do not expect him to make it through the night" I never gave up HOWEVER I always prayed that God would COMPLETELY heal him and do his perfect will for him whatever that may be without Noah suffering. Noah is deaf from all of the infections and medications that he was given to keep him alive, we are still believing God for his complete healing, I want to include Tripp in our daily prayer that God would COMPLETELY heal his little body. Please be encouraged and I know that it is hard, stressful and on those days when you feel like you just can not take anymore because this is not fair that your innocent baby is having to suffer remember that FAITH IS NOT BELIEVING THAT GOD CAN IT IS KNOWING THAT GOD WILL!
I pray the same prayer that the Harigel family prays... Always thinking of you guys. So glad last night was a bit better.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Janel - the sock on the head is great! Oh how we learn to improvise.
ReplyDeleteCourtney did you get my email about the trach attachment I was going to send to Tripp?
I just need your address and I'll can send it out.
Unless you don't want to try it ... and that's cool too - then I can stop bugging you about it. ; )
I absolutely love the black and white ones! Gorgeous pics!!!!!!
