Here's Daddy's attempt with the binky.
This was his the first time he even acted interested in it at all.
As you can see, it wasn't very successful...haha
This is his little "Jump-N-Go" that I pulled out this morning. It hangs in the door frame, but the only door frame it fits is in our front door because of our old house with our thick, rounded door frames... He didn't LOVE it, but maybe one day.
We bought these a while back when he first started wiggling his feet, because we thought he would love them.... When he wiggles his feet, we call them "Happy Feet." He'll start wiggling them when we say, "Happy feet, happy feet!" He has now just started to even acknowledge them. I think they're so cute.
Here he is with his monkey and with that "to die for" smile!
Today was a good day... better than they have been.
Still a lot of suctioning, but Tripp has been in a much better mood today.
Thank the Good Lord. Hope it continues.
Try a little sugar or honey on the end of the binky..then he might like it..All of the video's are too cute. Thanks for sharing. Love Aunt Sharon
ReplyDeletewhat an angel-baby! he is just adorable! my son didn't like the pacifier at first either. He actually didn't start using one until I went back to work after he was born. Now he always uses it when he is going to sleep! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing video is!!! It is so neat to see Tripp in "real life" it just makes such a difference to see him make faces and move around. I hope you post more videos in the future, it brings joy to my heart!
ReplyDeleteCute cute CUTE!!! Love the binky attempt!
ReplyDeleteI just love seeing Tripp on video. As I have said before, he is just the cutest little guy! Thanks for sharing him!!

ReplyDeletelove to watch the videos and kinda get to 'know' little Tripp! He is so sweet...I didn't realize he would be able to use a binky without causing blistering?? My son likes his paci maybe too much ;)
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to write for the last several days but life gets so busy sometimes! I am never to busy to pray daily for Tripp and his family though. I can't even imagine what you go through on a daily basis and I think you are amazing! Your hubby's post was so sweet and right on the money. I'm so glad that Tripp has parents that love him and do so much for him. Keep lovin on that sweet baby and I'll keep praying for you all!
ReplyDeleteOh what a cutey-bootie! It looks he would try to smile and then Daddy would stick that binky in his mouth and he got that "what the heck was that for?" look. Thank you for sharing your sweet angel with us!
ReplyDeleteOh man, he's the cutest. LOVED the attempt with the paci. I finally just gave up. I have to get Jonah one of those bouncy chairs for the doorway. Maybe Santa (WE GET TO BE SANTA THIS YEAR... CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??) will bring it for him. Love ya. So glad to hear it was a better day.
